Le Termofin est un bain histologique de 4 litres spécialement conçu pour la fusion et la conservation de la paraffine liquide dans une plage de températures de 40 °C à 80 °C. Sa cuve intérieure, son couvercle et sa partie supérieure sont en aluminium revêtu de PTFE noir mat indélébile, offrant un excellent contraste pour l'observation des coupes de tissus. Il maintient une stabilité thermique de ±1 °C et est doté d'un couvercle avec une ouverture supérieure permettant l'insertion du thermomètre fourni. Son utilisation est simple, grâce à un thermostat analogique synchronisé avec un voyant lumineux.
